Kenneth Klabunde, MS, CFP®
Kenneth Klabunde serves as an advocate and counselor to physicians, working to ensure the best possible outcomes in every aspect of their finances. He founded Precedent Asset Management to set a new standard for the integration of financial planning and investment management services for clients.
Providing personalized, holistic planning, Kenneth assists young and seasoned surgeons, physicians and other medical professionals to establish goals and create clear and concise action plans to help achieve their goals. This detailed planning is paired with an investment management process that centers around customized asset mixes designed to minimize drawdown risks and support client objectives in all market environments.
Kenneth resides in central Indiana with his wife and two children, where he enjoys a simple life running a small-scale sustainable farm. He is a hobby ecologist, managing a protected forest and grasslands, and installed his own solar energy system in his home.
Consistent with his personal values, Kenneth brings the same sustainable mentality to his work in financial planning. He utilizes leading-edge mobile technology to provide a paperless, highly organized, and personal experience to clients no matter where they reside, and to ensure that he and his team can consistently serve clients and remain highly accessible for physicians with challenging schedules.
Kenneth is a graduate of Taylor University with a degree in business systems and finance. He also holds a masters degree in personal financial planning and is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner.
He volunteers in the Indianapolis community as an advocate for medical research funding and is the chairman of the IU School of Medicine Planned Giving Committee. He is a Founding Member of the XY Planning Network, and a member of NAPFA, the Financial Planning Association, and Central Indiana Community Foundation’s Cornerstone Council.
